I swear no matter which video of Adriene’s I choose, there’s some higher power to tell me I’m exactly where I should be. I’m practicing outdoors and she said “the dogs are barking”, a dog suddenly barked from somewhere. She said “fly in crow” a crow started squawking from nowhere. The timings, the alignment, it all makes sense with Adriene 🙏

Instead of rushing around during my baby's naptime to "get things done" I have decided to rest when she rests and do yoga + meditation during her nap times. It has done wonders for my family the past few months. The house isn't as tidy but we are all so much happier. It helps too, that my older two kids should clean up their own mess anyways. I'm doing more for my kids being an example of self-advocacy than I ever was being "busy" or stressed. Yoga has truly helped every area of my life. So thank you for that. Self-love yoga not just another thing to be "perfect" at. Thank you so so much! Namaste!

I've been practicing yoga for 3 years now and today for the first time I managed to stay in crow pose!!! This makes my day. I just accepted that fact that I won't be able to do crow ever but today I did it. So happy 😄😄💓 love you Adriene

Today was very special!!! I was moving in my garden and the moment I was coming into crow pose a crow flew over my head saying hello. It was magical when I hold the pose longer than I have ever been able to. That crow was my signal from the Universe.

The YouTube algorithm has been handing me the longer videos lately, and I've just been going with the flow (no pun intended); going through a full yoga practice really has done wonders for a my after-work soreness and exhustion!

I am petsitting and this is my first yoga experience including four-legged friends. As soon as I got into froggy pose the cat decided that was a great time to rub against my legs - great extra balance challenge! Then as I prepared for crow, he spread out on his back in the middle of my mat as I attempted to balance over him between spurts of laughter, hoping and praying I wouldn't fall and traumatize this cat for life. Then as I sat crosslegged the dog decided our third eyes needed to meet and stood upright with her front paws on my arms and her face in my face. My practice today is all the better for the humor and companionship, and I am grateful for this challenging video which was exactly what I needed today!

Yesterday I planned to go to bed early, to wake up before the sun and to start working with no delay. But I didn't. But I didn't. But I didn't. So glad that I found a yoga for self discipline video then.

My crow only lasts for about 3-4 seconds, but it’s a start.

Also, the song “Stay Awhile”, love it. I only know the She & Him version with Zoey Deschannell

Saw a chameleon on the cedar tree today🦎🌲 Its meticulous movements as the branch swayed could teach us a lot about patience and self-discipline🌻❤️

About Benji...at the beginning we get to see his full face. Such beautiful patterns with the white diamond on his forehead and the wave of pure black surrounding one eye. I hope you have a painting made someday of his beautiful face. ( I just finished a prior workout and was watching Benji here a bit while I recovered.)

I've been really weak because I contracted covid, and struggled with keeping up with even your most gentle practices for the last 10 days. But today I can feel myself getting my strength back. I kept up with you through everything! (except crow, which I can't to anyway). So grateful to you and to this community for always emphasising listening to your body and being kind to yourself.
