Yep, this video is spot on. Don't try to "get rich quick", 99% will fail. Aim for "getting rich slow", and your success is much more probable.

Idk how often you go and look at old vid comments, But I’m leaving this here just in case you see it. Thank you for this video. I lost my apprenticeship at my job, luckily I am still employed. Hearing you talk gave me the motivation I need to get out of this mood I’m in and apply myself. Again, thank you CP.

Good points - Patience can be a difficult act in a time of panic and upheaval - to sit still and wait to catch your thoughts, and effectively plan before running amuck, and getting yourself into trouble.

I found that for many things, patience isn't so much about entirely waiting and doing nothing. But it can be enough to allow yourself to take a small step and then taking your time to evaluate what that little step accomplished, this then may look like patience but instead you are quite busy with the evaluation and deciding whether further steps are needed and what those may or could be. In a sense that is more about allowing yourself to go at a slower pace, to put a feeler out without fully committing to give yourself room to observe and adapt.
And one can most certainly train being more patient with very little things, receive a 'bling' on your phone, do you feel excited or curious what it is, know that 99 out of 100 it's a pic of a cat doing something silly, then wait until that excitement and most of the curiousity has passed, *then* look at the message. Still receive paper mail, be a bit lazy about it, toss it in a predetermined place and plan for yourself to open it after diner. Want something real bad? Order it online, but then then the package comes, and you are all excited you have it, put it in that mail slot, you can open it later (if this is hard, remind yourself that you have it now, so what's the deal here, all that's there is some packaging around it that you merely have to remove later on. When it comes to snacks, take a hand full (or a small bowl) instead of the bag.

Number of people wandering through their holiday looking at a map, in the street, instead of before they went out the door! Blocking a busy path while they stare at their phone, seeing nothing! ☆ I stop, I wait, the crowd sweeps them out of the way. I carry on, with a clear path ahead of me. ☆ I return the next year, and know that place like the back of my hand, while the other fellow cannot even find it on a map of the country

U really made some great points in this video. I remember my father used to tell me “have patience son”. Patience is everything in life. Being ready at all times but waiting for the right moment. Definitely agree being ready now mentally will help u so much when things do get bad. As important it is to have patience u have to remember waiting to long can also hurt u. If u see an opportunity take it. Don’t hesitate when things get bad. Training, experience, and skill set will help u when things get bad.

Life is a Marathon, not a Sprint. Everyone on this Planet has the same exact amount of Time: 24 Hours per Day. Use your allotment Patiently. Thanks again and Take Care.

I’m not sure who first said it but I love the quote “ we have two ears and one mouth therefore we should listen twice as much as we speak “ I think it goes along with the video

Speaking of patience I have a plan for increasing my running distance little by little. I can easily run a mile, or 3, but I’m going to start running one lap on the track more each day. That means only doing one lap the first day, and not as fast as I can. Just one jog around the track and then I leave. It sounds easy but it’s hard in it’s own way because you want to make it worth while and don’t want people watching doing a slow lap and leaving.

Great video. You always make me think. And thank you for talking about the 48 laws of power in another video. I an always open to new ideas and that book has a lot to think on. Try his book called war. Very interesting book.

Latest Shopify news. Jumped on the anti gun bandwagon. Not exactly a prepper friendly move in my opinion.

I watch alot of videos and short movies on here. Alot of them showing people having fires. I feel that a fire would be unwise. Anyone working the area will spot you. Especially at night. What's your thoughts?

A lot of good points in this video, but I think you might be leaning a little too far towards the grey end of the noticeableness spectrum.

A lot of preppers tend to underestimate people's capacity to quickly form groups, rally around leaders, and create order in trying situations.

You mention a little on the dangers of preppers getting too isolated. This video seems to worry more about the importance of patience - which is a vitue - but the time to set an example and be noticed might come very quickly for lots of people.

Sure, there is a time to hunker down, but that might only be neccessary for the time it takes to assess the scope and magnitude of a disaster. This might be very quick, i would go as far as to say that as soon as you know the police wont ever recieve another paycheck, you want to start working on getting them on your people's side, nipping despots in the bud, figuring out how to maintian stable community territory, and how to begin building long term cohesion

If the history of falling empires tells us anything, it's that informal kingdoms and city states can form very quickly, then it's up to you to either get very far from them, establish one, join one, and or help keep peace between them.

All of these decisions need to be proactive, right ones wont be known in advance, but while they take controlled, concientious decision making, the time to make them might only be weeks or months into a grid down scenario.

On a side note, a lot of people (Canadian Prepper among them) tend to underestimate how instinctively peaceful the tactical preppers are. It would not surprise me to see them very quickly form cohesive, rational military castes that have a lot of say over resource distribution, and who you would want to impress or assist.

Marauders on the other hand will probably be plentiful, and by sheer numbers will necessitate fairly hardened, networked, survivor societies.
