PicoPlug - the folding UK 3-pin plug

This slim UK 3-pin plug has folding pins and a lever to eject it from the socket. It is compact for travel/packaging and the design helps release it when stuck or in an awkward to reach socket. It takes a standard size fuse and has a conductive ground pin for products that need to use that.

Slight problem. If the pins can be unfolded individually then this won't be BS1363 conpliant, because you can insert the plug upsidown with the earth pin out which will expose the contacts on the line and neutral, making it unsafe to children.

In America, we call these slim profile kind of plugs "wall huggers"
