I used old bumper jacks as a kid and young man. They are very similar.

I'm a carpenter and that is a Jack in my Arsenal don't use it often but when I do it's definitely worth its weight

The first and last time I saw stars during the day was when the jack handle slipped through my hand and hit me under the chin. Great jack. I'll never let go of my Hi Lift jack for any money.

tractor supply has a competing brand of lift with lots of accoutrement as well. i dont think they work on each other though.
