When I started watching your channel, I used to be at a b1 level at the very best, now I’m happy to say I’m at the C2 level and I’d like to think a part of the reason I have improved, aside from the classes I took, is because of your teachings. To go from barely understanding what people say in the YouTube videos to being at the very least fluent in English, is crazy to think about, it feels like a whole new sense that I didn’t have, has awakened in me.

The thing I find trickier is not recognising the meaning of vocabulary, which I'm able to do in general, but using it spontaneously in my sentences. Using it yourself is a totally different story.

My score is C2-5. Wanted to share this because I didn’t know English til I was 5, and even then couldn’t get the basic words right, to completely becoming addicted to reading, writing, and speaking English at the age of 6, I became fluent by age 8, and completely fluent by age 10. Now I’m expanding and learning French, Hindi, and Arabic. Have a lovely day guys!

I have a B1 level, but this is not the limit of my dreams. It was very nice to see you, Teacher Lucy.

28/30. The last two questions were tricky for me. The new words for me were: to scoff, to scald, to scold, to exacerbate, to mitigate (not a new one, but I completely forgot its meaning).
Even taking this test expands my vocabulary! Thank you!

Hi Lucy, I did 5/5 correct answers from A1 to B2, 4/5 and 3/5 in C1 and C2, respectively. I'm so happy! In C1 and C2 there were interesting new words, totally new to me.

29/30 I always thought that auspicious means unfavorable. Well it's good that I learned something

It's a relief that I got most of those right, even at the C2 level, although the final question was one that I clearly remembered from your other lesson, so it wasn't like randomly taking a quiz.

I answered all the questions correctly, but for “bungle the presentation” I was not so sure about my choice. Only other options sound too strange to me, so by elimination method I chose the right one.
Not a native speaker, but I daily use English and French for my work. So glad to know my English vocabulary is reasonably good.

38 out of 40.. I can't wait to reach the C2 level and be more comfortable listening to natives talk. All the progress I've made from B1 in 2017 is thanks to you, the novels I read, and the films I watched. I never bothered to pick up pace but I guess now is the time!

Indonesian vocabulary is mostly borrowed from English, Dutch and Latin, around 40%. This means that Indonesian people should accept it more easily. But unfortunately they don't even realize it yet.
