LSK sues Supreme Court for barring Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi

The Law society of Kenya has sued the Supreme Court, following its decision to bar senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi from appearing before it. In the petition filed at the high court in Nairobi, the lawyers’ umbrella body termed the decision unconstitutional and aimed at curtailing the senior counsel’s freedom of expression. The petition further argued that the decision also roped in other advocates affiliated to Ahmednasir's law firm thus quashing their freedom of association.

It's perplexing, what has senior counsel's firm got to do with the beef between supreme court and the lawyer.why are lawyers in his firm condemned by ASSOCIATION? His firm is a body corporate with its own personality and so is the principal.this whole charade from CJ sucks!!!

So, does the High Court of Kenya have powers over the decisions of the Supreme court?

A big joke. This is a personal vendetta between this lawyer and members of the Supreme Court. The lawyer should stop airing his grievances on social media, and the Supreme Court should stop dragging this into the courts of justice. They are both airing their dirty deals in public and should stop forthwith. And now the LSK...really?!😂😂😂
