It's now available on the Plus plan for $20/month

I literally just finished watching your video, reopened CGPT and it’s available on the Plus plan too! Yay! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for the video, I had no idea this tool existed.

It's not in Gemini free but it is free on perplexity for very limited use

Great video, but $200.00 per month is so far out of my budget that it is in nose-bleed territory. Gemini would be the best option.Thank you, Jason.

What about Perplexity with Deep Research?

Here's the thing if you were getting it specifically for the Deep Research then ok maybe there are other options out there. But if you are interested in the entire OpenAI ecosystem, ChatGPT, Dall-e, Sora, Deep research, Operator, and any other future products OpenAI rolls out it's certainly worth it.

The limited number of deep research per day on Grok's free plan has been enough for me so far.

I didnt feel like I needed the paid benefits.

I'm on plus and it has deep research (frantically checks I'm not paying $200 per month!), yep, I'm on plus.

When will you discuss Claude 3.7? It is definitely a game changer!

Deep seek is pretty impressive, it gave me 65 pages !! (that were spot on) on my question, thought about it for 30 minutes

i just worry about the broad points. i could care less about the details of historical accuracy in fiction writing or even movies. i'm writing a story... not a history book/biography

It's not just deep research though. It's Operator as well and early access to any other agents OpenAI rolls out.

claude 3.7 sonnet just came out. you're the first person I thought of when I heard the news. I hope you find time to take it for a spin soon.

I wonder how the deep research feature on Chat gpt compares to Grok deepseek?

I have ChatGPT purchased. Is there an option for Deep Research or is it already integrated? Because I don't see an option.

All the sources provided by the ai in the video are dubious in an academic context. Citing Britannica isn't a good idea, not to speak of the other websites that are highly questionable ressources. Even if you use it for writing historical fiction you'd want an ai searching through academic ressources and condensing them in a consumable form, so that you don't have to go through a pile of journal articles and books. Everything I'll saw from this "research" model is not agreat advantage over a normal plus subscription.

Red flag right away: 35 c. BCE it's before Dynasty 0, so before the establishment of a state in ancient Egypt. The information you got is about dynastic Egypt, so roughly ~2800-525 BCE. The information we have about Naqada culture (~3800-3000 BCE in Egypt) is very sparse, since it is only based on archaeology (it is before the invention of writing in Egypt). So, judging from this example alone, what you got, is a total bs as an answer, which doesn't differentiate between different periods in the history of ancient Egypt, nor doesn't acknowledge any differences between them. If this tool produces answers on other topics with comparable reliability, it's certain it's completely useless and provides inaccurate information. Meaning, it's yet another useless AI tool ($200//month? geez), which on the face of it seems like pretty good, but it turns out to be nonsense.

so why is it a game changer?? isnt ai spoused to be a deep research by default? what is different between deep or none deep research?

If I had $200 disposable income per month, I'd be saving it up to build a new computer for 3D rendering (which would be good for using LLMs and image generation too) and such, not giving it to fucking OpenAI.

There are some poor people like me from poor nations. I can't afford such things, when I'm not even earning a single buck with my fiction.
