As one of the greatest theologians of recent times, Pope Benedict XVI has left the Church a rich theological legacy. At the heart of his thought stands the centrality of the Word of God, which must shape our thought and prayer. This talk unpacks Benedict’s teaching on divine revelation, how biblical interpretation must reunite history and faith, and why we need a return to the practice of lectio divina, the prayerful meditation on Sacred Scripture.
