There’s a trend I noticed where there are certain developers who before putting their biggest games on Switch they’ll port a smaller game first to make sure they can translate the engine and those ones almost always end up with ports like this. Crytek has done it, these guys with Chronos From the Ashes, Square Enix and many more. I appreciate these devs who put the effort in to really learn the hardware and fine tune their ports for it.

I know the switch isn't always the best device for all your gaming needs. But I do appreciate how much love it gets from dedicated developers.

I hope this practice of putting ALL THE GAME ON THE CARTRIDGE continues (I hate that cartridge versions don't include everything a lot of the time, it makes the cartridge version worthless) and no i'm not shutting up about this until developers make this a standard practice :)

Genuinely one of the best co-op experiences you can have, especially with friends. Rpg fans will also find tons of build variety to be had once you start unlocking skills.

I have already played and completed this game on PS4. If you have never played it, and you like souls like games or would like to try the souls like genre. Give this a try. The range combat is fantastic. The bosses are tough but not unfair. And it's not a super long experience. I won't be buying this since I already completed it, but I do highly recommend it.

I was literally clamoring for you guys review! I had it in my wish list but wasn’t sure how the port would hold up. This game was so addictive playing on my Xbox I can’t wait to play this on my switch and switch lite!

And from the Ashes, another developer has unlocked the secret to porting a game and having it run well on the Switch. I may wait on the physical, but it's a definite add to the Wish List for me.

Between the camera angle and build diversity this game reminded me of a combination of Mass Effect 3 Online and Resident Evil 5. The guns are percussive and interesting as hell. The game rewards trying EVERYTHING. A solid game all around but a 10/10 for me and my friends either solo or coop. Glad THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games brought this to this platform too.

I have this on PS4. It's a pretty good game and really surprised me with its depth and gameplay. I'm glad more people will get a chance to play it. It's good when developers actually take their time with Switch ports and don't just throw a bad product on the system. I was worried this port was going to be rough. Like you mentioned, it wasn't exactly the smoothest on PS4. But this looks solid and feels like the perfect place to play. I do love a good Switch port.
