I had a big orange cat we rescued and adopted from being a local stray. Even after years of living indoors with us, when a thunderstorm hit, he woukd run into my walk in closet and burrow as far and as deep as he could. He must have been so terrified of the noise and tain when he had to survive outside. Poor baby.
