The Mycenaean Greeks (before the Archaic and Classical Greeks) were the first who reached Sicily and southern Italy, not the Phoenicians.

Full of information and visuals not seen before. The narration was oddly like a travelogue instead of a historic documentary, but it made me pay more attention perhaps.
Besides all the war and slavery, the Greeks, Phoenicians and Romans were terrific people.
It was interesting though that the Greeks actually used theaters for theatrical performances, while the Romans went straight for violence unto slaughter ... nice ...
Then there was the 4th century AD/CE Roman villa dedicated to Philosophia ... 'keep me well out of the religious arguments and vagueries of Roman power politics! I'm over here chillin' in Sicily Greek-style!' :D

Greek literacy is a historical forgery
The Greeks say TO BIBLIO for a book and TO TETRADIO for a notebook.But these words have nothing to do with reading and writing.Byblos is just the name of the city. It is a city where writing depth was sold. Writing depth called BUKVA...From BUKVA come English word BOOK and German, s word BUCH...Other goods were sold there, as in every trading town.When the Greeks saw a bandage of several beech bark or a bandage of pressed papyrus, the Greeks realized that it could be obtained in the city of Byblos. That is how the Greeks recognize the book, but they cannot use it because they are illiterate Asians. The Greeks see the book and say "biblos". Later, the monks of the city of Byblos made a noun of the middle genus TO BIBLIO. The word BIBLE originated in the plural of several biblos. TA BIBLIA.
TETRADIO(the Notebook) It is something square or rectangular in shape.The Greeks saw that the notebook was square and say TETRADIO as a tetrahedron but they could not use it because they were illiterate. as the beginning of the Greek history, science takes 776 but there is nothing reliable to the 5th century! The Greeks are pushed in Homer ethics but it is obvious that this is literature which the Greeks there found .Greeks came into the unknown time and inherited Homer ethics of indigenous !
