My Dad has an old Tag Heuer watch that’s more worn than that one. He loves it and wears it every single day and has worn it every day for the decades he’s had it. It’s scuffed and battered to hell, but it’s still beautiful, and it still works as if it were new. Watches are meant to be used, not locked away.

What he really needs is the story behind the watch. The previous owner loved it obviously, if he could tell the story why they loved it so much it would be a selling point to add the story to why the watch has character.
