I hope the reason the rule 41 thing happened was RED realizing they might lose if they did go to court, and backing off to maintain their patent for linger.

I hope this is the case, because that means a bit more pushing in the future could hopefully get rid of that vague dumb patent

The problem I have with Sonty's crop sensor cameras is they don't have the glass I would want to use with them. This is one of the reasons why Fuji is as popular as it is with people who shoot with rangefinder-like cameras. Fuji has the glass at the focal lengths that make sense.

I agree with your nose problem and being right-handed but left-eye dominant run into the same issue with any touchscreen camera. I had to turn off the touch screen even on my Sony A7iii or my nose keeps tapping stuff.

I follow Sony alpha rumors quite a while now and they are way more reliable than Jared makes it look . Of course it´s a rumors site, so not everything comes true, but most sony rumors that do come true were first posted by them. I don´t get why Jared keeps hitting them while he seems to be fine with canon rumors who post something every 3 weeks and missed most of canons camera releases completely.

I want sony to make an actual contender at a low price point… right now I don’t recommend any low end sony cameras to anybody that asks me for a camera while on a budget and it’s sad cause the other manufacturers (aside from fuji) don’t have the high quality, affordable glass sony does. I think Sony needs to take their apsc line seriously. Currently canon and fuji just dominate that space and that low end is where the majority of people will buy.
