We are lucky in Sweden to have so many nice neighbours! Norway, Finland and Denmark. What a luxury!

Danebrog is from 1219. You could add, that the largest company in Europe is Danish (measured in value, Novo Nordic)

Although I wasn't born in Denmark, I'm proud to be living here and to call myself a Dane.

Bonus fact:
Lars Thiesgaard, a well-known danish voice actor and voice director for many Danish dubbed Disney movies, stated that the higher ups at Disney prefered the Danish dubbed versions over the original American dubs back in the 1990's.

As a Dane, I gladly pay my taxes. We get it back by not having to pay for an ambulance or going to the hospital. At the age of 9, I was hospitalized for 2 months with a lot of rehabilitation afterwards. Didn't cost my family anything.
We get pretty good infrastructure and do not pay for school, vocational or higher education.

What I like about being a Dane is the trust we have in each other and the government. The latter is (unfortunately) under pressure - especially due to mis- and desinformation, the lack of critical thinking skills due to bombardments of speedy information on the internet and the rise of chaos pilots becoming leaders around the world. That could potentially destroy what we value.
You can't take democracy for granted. It's fragile if we loose focus.

The flag, Dannebrog, is MUCH older than you narrate in this video. The common belief is that it has been the flag since 1219. Although that might not be a 100% historical fact, the name, DANNEBROG, is found in 1380. You have only focused on 'official' changes to the format, not the origin of the flag.

This guy's attempt at Danish sounds like a language duel between a rubber ducky and a tongue-twister champion.

You could add, Copenhagen is not the only city in Denmark

Too much talk about Copenhagen. Copenhagen is the Capital of Denmark but most people lives on the main Island you call Jutland (in danish Jylland).
Fynen (in danish called Fyn) is the second largest island. The main city is Odense, were Hans Christian Andersen is born.
If you come to Denmark. Forget about Copenhagen. See the rest of our country.

Fun fact: Denmark and Equatorial Guinea are the only two countries in the world where the capital is placed on an island even there is a great part of land attached to a continent.

The good thing about Denmark is that as a pensioner you can still afford two cars, a sailboat in the harbor, a villa, and eat red steaks with red wine.

BTW as student you are entitled to appr. $1000 a month from the state so you won’t have to work while studying.

Something that bites me abit is that this video is mainly focused in and about copenhagen like when he said "in Copenhagen you can drink water straight from the tab" I know its a minor detail but ofcourse you can drink tapwater everywhere in denmark.
