Our Local NZMCA | The Willows, West Melton

It is the end of the school holidays, the weather looked great, so we pack the caravan and drove to one of our closest NZMCA parks which is the Willows.
Featuring a very cool dog park, a 6km river loop, right on the banks of the Waimakariri river this turned out to be a good choice for a two-night stay for us and friends Reuben, Kristin and their three children. We even get a spectacular electrical storm, but it still came out fine the next morning.
