5:40 HIGH PASS refers to an EQ setting that passes the highs or thusly suppresses the lows. So obviously LOW PASS is an EQ setting that passes the low so is also suppressing the highs. LOW pass or allowing passage of the low frequencies.... or HIGH pass is allowing the passage of the high frequencies. :) there now you can remember them.
