This is my F-14 Tomcat, originally designed by Craig Clarkstone. Created by me. Piloted by me. Maiden flight goes just ok. This video contains full raw maiden flight and 3 launch-land clipped videos.
Specification :
- foam, balsa, 3d printed parts
- 2826 DYS 2200kv x2
- GEMFAN 5049 3 blade CW/CCW
- 40 amps ESC hobbywing xrotor micro x2
- 3s 2800 mah LiPo 60C (250grams)
- 17gram servo x2 (wing swept mechanism, one for each)
- rx ia10 (9 out of 10 used)
- servo EMAX ES08MDII x2(stabilator)
- servo EMAX ES08DII x3(rudder and aileron)
- servo extension(I forgot how much it is)
- battery extension(AWG12, splitted to AWG14, is it overkill?)
- switching BEC 3A
- about 1200 static thrust, 1231 total weight
