Sister Disco" is the fourth track from the Who's eighth album Who Are You. It was written by Pete Townshend.
Sister Disco features complicated synthesizer tracks that are the result of hours Townshend spent programming an ARP 2600 synthesizer.
Pete Townshend has claimed that the song was written as a statement that The Who would never use disco elements in their music.

Who Are You is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 21 August 1978 by Polydor Records in the United Kingdom and MCA Records in the United States. Although the album received mixed reviews from critics, it was a commercial success, peaking at number 2 on the US charts and number 6 on the UK charts.

Who Are You was the Who's final studio album to feature Keith Moon as their drummer. He died three weeks after it was released. The ironic nature of the text "Not to Be Taken Away" that was stencilled on Moon's chair on the album cover was noted by some critics.

Roger Daltrey once said in an interview, "Pete Townshend is the best guitar player I've ever worked with".
Saw The Who live in the 70's, and yes, I agree, he was the best.
💪👍😁

It isn't The Who without Keith John Moon!
Kenney Jones sounded great with The Small Faces but sounded stiff with The Who!

How can Keith Moon and the Moonettes continue after Keith Moon died? This song is a gibberish mess without the genius of Keith Moon leading the tempo changes

I don't know this band, sorry... I could name the 4 guys BUT a group without his battery, his funny way, it's entire personnality is not a "true" band...

🛑 The Who was a band composed by Shi**tty Pete Townshend as the guitar, Roger Daltrey as vocals, John Entwistle at guitar bass AND MOONIE AS THE DRUMS, ENERGY, FUNNY, BATTERY TRUE ROCK STAR, GROUP'S SOUL....

And even if they looked good for the camera, Daltrey has said "Of course i miss Keith, i miss him all the time."

Entwistle has tried to keep straight but when he learned the Keith's death and this when this journalist asked him "What's future for "The Who" ?"
He broke down in tears saying "Future !? Keith just died !"

And the famous angry bird who said aged 76 he was happy that Moonie was gone has forgotten how much the Keith 's death devastated him falling as his late lil bro in alcohol and drugs during 5-6 yrs.

My Moonie called this treator almost every night to say him "ILY" and Moonie was genuinly true all the time, he was a child, he loved anyone, he liked make laugh and make ppl around him HAPPY. Pity didn't say to Moonie how much he was important for him and for the group, just at first he admitted "We have all lost a leg."

The band is born when a boy with crazy eyed said "Hire me, i'm better than your drummer in this ginger's suit."

Moonie was a people's person.
