You would be forgiven for thinking that Cupid's Inspiration was an American band, but no - they were British, originally from Stamford in Lincolnshire. This was their biggest hit, reaching #4 in the UK charts back in 1968.

An inspirational gem from 1968 and a belting performance from Terry Rice-Milton. I still have the single. The lyrics certainly ring true .... "time is wasting and we'll soon be old"....yup!! Great post, thanks.

Only discovered this song a couple of years ago and then bought it on 7" and a compilation cd by the band. There is a great performance on TOTP with the lead singer really standing out. Great, great pop song/party tune!
