Byzantium: After Manzikert; 1071 - 1107 AD

A Slide Show of Bitmaps I made over six years ago whilst looking into the terratorial changes that took place in Anatolia after the Battle of Manzikert in 1071. From what I found out, Anatolia remained in Byzantine control for a number of years after the battle, only the short sightedness of the Byzantine regime allowed the Turks to take control of Anatolia. The Slide Show covers the period up to 1107, after the Crusades have been and gone and the defeat and death of Sultan Kilij Arslan.
