My town's extreme metal scene consists of 2 bands and I'm in half of them. It is a struggle to find extreme metal where I live, which sucks cause black and death metal are my favourite genres

I’m learning guitar right now and teaching my best friend how. I’m an adult, but this still applies! I helped them change their strings yesterday and then showed them how to play Seven Nation Army.

I am from india and i am a guitarist and i am planing to go to USA for making a band there cause here in India its not as glamorous as it it is in the US so is it good to to go there after 5 years and btw i am an intermediate level guitar player.And i am thinking to make it my career without having q day job so is it good?And i am also gonna study music there

Me and my friends are a group of 5. We’ve been trying to start a band. Im 15, three of them are 14 and one is 13. We’re making an indie rock band called ‘Raccoons in Trench coats’
I’m drummer. I’m gonna ask my dad (who was also in a band and a drummer) if he can teach me the next time I see him and maybe see if he still has his drum set. I used to have a mini drum set when I was 5 or something.

Any tips on what we can do to start up our band?

No local bands + none of my friends are interested. If I play acoustic it's boring and not full, If I play using backing tracks the audience say Im faking, if I play live one man band it either don't have bass or don't have lead. Im trapped.

I don't have that problem. I'm in a teenager band with two people that that tell me that even practicing once a week is way too little...
As if we are a professional band and ready to get a record contract
