BEWARE OF SCAMS! I will never ask you to text me, and then sell you something. Scammers use my profile picture for their YouTube accounts and then ask you to text them (for example on WhatsApp). There are too many of them to delete all of them immediately, so be careful! Also don't fall for the scams from the fake comments talking about making money following some traders. If I ever promote anything, there will be links in this description, if you do not see me mention it in a YouTube video or this description, assume it is a scam.

All-in Tesla stock,

It may not be safer than a human driver, but it is definitely safer than THIS human driver.

5:29 The human eye's resolution doesn't translate directly to megapixels because it works differently than a digital camera. However, estimates suggest that if the eye were a camera, its resolution would be approximately 576 megapixels.

Here’s a breakdown:

Field of view: The human eye can perceive about 120-200 degrees horizontally and 135 degrees vertically, but sharp focus (high resolution) is limited to a smaller central area called the fovea.

Dynamic range: The eye adjusts to different lighting conditions in real time, giving it a much greater dynamic range than most cameras.

Processing: The brain plays a significant role in combining the "frames" captured by the eyes to create the perception of a detailed image.

That said, this number doesn't mean the eye works exactly like a 576 MP camera—it's more complex, with aspects like focus, motion perception, and real-time adjustments playing critical roles.

the occasion during the video with loss of vision happened to me in New Zealand. We were approaching a hill and lots of cars were on the hill ahead of us. My boss, driving, slowed but when we got to the bottom of the hill we couldn't see anything. the sun was in our eyes. i rolled down the passenger window to look, but before i could roll it down far we rear ended the car in front of us.
my head hit and broke the windshield and my neck hurt for a couple of weeks, but that was the only injury. In your case, you might have been rear ended. so, NO ESCAPE. IMO the tesla car
operated correctly. I would have turned on the flashing emergency lights as well though.

Where is the trash receptacle in the robotaxi? Seems like something worth considering

Waymo's intervention rate is fudging, they only count an intervention as when a technician is sent to the car. They do not count the frequent times they intervene remotely.
IMHO Tesla will need to add remote control for interventions before they can be a robotaxi company. They have the hardware and software already in place to remotely control the vehicle (basically a variation of smart summon) This is needed for when say another driver crashes into them, checking on the passengers etc.

Tesla self driving still has flaws. Last week I encountered 2 incidents. 1) My Y didn't see a large branch that was down across my lane, it wanted to plow into it. 2) It was going to go on the wrong side of cones in a construction zone that would have dead ended in a pile of dirt

$Tsla going to $1500 in the next few years. Tesla will be the next NVDA I have no doubt about it. (The corrections and bull runs were exactly like NVDA's movement in the past)

You should put emphasis on the fact that Waymo's reported number of miles between interventions is crap.

Waymo does not count remote assistance as an intervention in their reported disengagement statistics. In Waymo's public reports (e.g., California DMV disengagement reports), the company explicitly defines interventions in terms of disengagements, which occur when the self-driving system relinquishes control or a safety driver takes over.

Remote assistance, where human operators provide high-level guidance without taking over vehicle control (e.g., clarifying ambiguous situations), is not included in these disengagement metrics. This is because remote assistance is seen as part of the operational design, not a system failure.

Rainfall Radar forecaster is a brilliant addition. I'm on our local rainfall real-time radar chart several times a day with dogs to walk and outdoor sports.

Waymo couldn’t take the highway, which says something about geofencing
