Your timing is impeccable. My organization is using a paginated push report service that I find largely abysmal. I've been eyeing PowerBI paginated Reports but the time sink to migrate everything was going to be too much. This. Is. Beautiful.

Will it support shared datasources? Can you deploy to service from Visual studio? Also what about ssrs report solutions?

Hi Patrick, is there a way to set a default date range to an in-between date slicer? For example when the user lands on the report, the date slicer should be selected for Last 30 days by default, then later they can change the date accordingly. Is there a video available on this topic, if no can you please make one?

Best Regards,
Pratik

Hi Patrick, could you please make a vedio about how to embed paginated report via Azure Portal? Thank you very much! I did successfully embedded PowerBI report via Azure before, but seems like the PowerBI report does not support using parameters in URL.

Hi Patrick,

Great video.
Would you know if this tool will migrate Subscriptions from SSRS reports deployed to SharePoint?

Hey Patrick, thanks for the great vids! I need help. I need to move a bunch of paginated reports currently on a Power BI dev server, (in a file folder structure), over to the production Power BI Server keeping the same structure. Is there a way to do that?

HI Patrick,
RDL Migration converts SSRS report to paginated report in power bi ( which doesnt offer all features of power BI). Is there anyway we can convert SSRS report to Power BI report(not paginated report).

Power BI report designer tool will do the same thing which explained in video .

Thank you for your video. I have learned a lot from you. My SSRS report runs fine in the server. However, when I use RdlMigration tool, it was fail due to "Client found response content type of 'text/html; charset=UTF-8', but expected 'text/xml'." How do I fix it? Can anyone has an idea? Thanks all

Hi, great video. but you didn't talk about setting up the correct permissions in Azure Active Directory in order to be able to use the rdlTool. I registered the APP and got the App ID, but the option to change the APP to native is greyed out! so I use the default there. when I do that and run the rdlMigration code it tells me the app is not created by the AAD tenant and just gives me an error saying"Application with identifier 'XXXX' was not found in the directory 'YYY'. ". What can I do?

Thanks for this - however, I notice this is just for premium licence users - we only have pro - is it available for pro users as well as we may think about migrating our SSRS reports in future. Also do you know if Data Driven Subscriptions are supported with PowerBI Paginated Reports?
Thanks
