Thank you for supporting all animals! And YES it's true - it's a HARD time to be a dog (and cat) in the shelter! I have 5 foster dogs currently, plus 3 of my own (plus kitties, birds and reptiles - all rescued!). ADOPTION SAVES ❤❤❤❤

A friend of mine has two cream labs, they are lovely pooches and actually serve as emotional support buddies for foster kittens, the last one we saved from the street loves them and they helped socialise her for her new home with a retired lady! btw, if you are a true animal person, the species does not matter, birds, hedgehogs, frogs, even insects, they are all living beings that deserve their place

I like dogs at a distance. Unfortunately, due to disabilities causing me to be very sensitive to overstimulation, I can't live with dogs. I lived with a dog for over a year, and I was frequently overstimulated. I also don't have the knowhow to train a dog, and unlike the roommate who had the dog, I have the ability to recognize that.
Love meeting and interacting with other people's dogs, though!
