Kythira part 1 | Exploring Greece

Kythira, also transliterated as Cythera, Kythera and Kithira, is an island in Greece lying opposite the south-eastern tip of the Peloponnese peninsula. It is traditionally listed as one of the seven main Ionian Islands, although it is distant from the main group. Administratively, it belongs to the Islands regional unit, which is part of the Attica region, despite its distance from the Saronic Islands, around which the rest of Attica is centered.

Well done for the captures. Kythira is such a small gem and it is really difficult even for us Greeks to find an accommodation - especially in the summer, but it is lovely !

01:36 you can't get to this cave if you don't have a boat...it's quite southern of Fyri ammos beach, but,
what makes it extremely unique is that when you climb on the central rock of the cave is like you are on a theater stage. Absolutely fantastic.
