Well he was spotted so if he was a spy, he's probably going to be fired

I thought my ex-wife was a spy. But I was wrong she was actually a whale.

Maybe it's just marine research & this cutie (belugas love cold) swam out of his yard🤷‍♀️ If the strap has the city then it's probably not secret.

Thats the whale's name.. "St.Petersburg the famous travelling whale "🐋

Imaging it was for research, and this fisherman trying to do good just destroyed weeks worth of valuable information on the

He most probably was rescued in some way and re-released. That harness could've been a tracker. Makes sense especially since he was friendly with humans. Most people from Norway probably never heard of St. Petersburg Florida. This cutie pie ROCKS the ocean!!

It's from Florida. Seriously, I hear that the whales name is Hvaldimir.

Wow now that's not a story you hear about every day!!! I'm glad they were able to remove the strap, it looked tight.

Haha ok ....they said..” they managed to get the harness off the whale” as the whale swims away with harness still around its body

Probably just a research mission, and belugas are curious animals and are (from what I know) friendly with humans anyways.

The US has too. 35 years ago, I watched two white whales being trained to find missiles in a deep bay.

So beautiful and they are too genuine to be a spy

If it was a spy, it would have said ' hi, I am a spy from russia"

Maybe they were used to search for mines

Does anyone wonder why St. Petersburg is written in English.
Let's see what was on the film.

I am glad they took that harness off. And "spy" is probably not the right word. Many years ago it was rumoured the Soviet Union was training dolphins to swim up to boats wearing a bomb and to bump against the bottom of the boat to set off the blast. I wonder how the animal would know which boat to swim to

Yes the Russian inteligenge would wright things in a forin language to be a beat more dificuld for the Russians to understand and easier for the americans to get theire intentions.
Good idea.
