The added grazing and mulch from animals will help to improve the area. The shade gives a cooler environment and more water collection. Glad people are getting proactive.

We bought 31/2 hectares and have planted over 500 trees...moringa, lime, papaya and others. Green is in and it helps to being shade for our vegetables 😊❤ Every Senegalese sould be planting trees..especially just before the rainy season so they get a good head start in life. May Allah bless the people of senegal to be upon Quran and sunnah and make all they plant to flourish ❤ameen

So glad you are using rainwater harvesting techniques. This video is a good teaching moment for others They also reduce maintenance, too. I established several shrubs that way (using a generous amount of water when they are set in the hole, for a good start).

I had previously asked about rainwater harvesting under several other videos, but my comment was missed by you guys...
