Sun Blade 2500 (SPARC) DVD Playback on Solaris 10

Playing back a DVD on a Sun Blade 2500 (Red) UNIX workstation from 2004. Believe it or not DVDs are still being pressed to this day.

Hmmmm. I'm pretty sure I watched dvds in Linux around 1999-2000. And that was on an overclocked Celeron300A.

I am glad to know you are using the only major SVR4 package repository on the Internet, OpenCSW, and that mvplayer works on Solaris 10! I'd like to get Solaris 10 running again.

MEh..My iMac G3 350mhz could do that too...I've been ripping the hell out of DVDs back in the days, not a problem whatsoever.
Nice machine though, it surely does something better than watching movies. In the end, it is capable but software sucks, that's all about it. The hardware is solid.
