AI and the Future Battlefield

An Army Futures exercise starts this Monday, 12 November! We’re looking for unconventional ideas about the future of AI and Army operations. Ideas that challenge the status quo, and reveal how AI will be used both at home and on the battlefield. What is the Army missing in how it thinks about AI? What technologies seem like science fiction today, but could be everywhere by 2035? What new CONOPs will evolve as these technologies spread?

I had a futuristic dream to do with modern-day warfare was on a completely different plane, in fact, it was so advanced it was mind-boggling to the point I wanted to dip my head in a bucket of cold water filled with ice cubes on top. AI had managed to interface with multiple platforms beyond our comprehension to the point that it was waging war at every conceivable level.

Let me be very clear with you in controlled the following autonomously and with exact precision the Army, Navy, Airforce, SpaceCom just to name but a few. The throw all the rest in for good measure and now you are just scratching the surface of its capabilities.

What made this far more frightening was that the protocols had been changed and the ultimate authority was that of POTUS and no other.
