If they just met, I think she's old enough to make her own decisions. In Ontario Canada at 19 we have full federal rights (drink, drive, vote) at 19, for me that is the age. Voting age is 18 federally.

My partner is 31 years my senior and I met him just before I turned 19. I'm 37 now, sometimes it isn't grooming or dodgy, just two people who get each other in a way others don't. I got really ill a couple months ago, like almost died ill, and he has been supporting me in every way.
