This lathe was in dire need of a tooling update. So I decided to hunt some things down on Amazon and was very surprised with the result. Of course it took a little bit of modification to make them work, but that's just the Tireside way!

Save yourself some frustration and buy American or European made blunt point set screws for the tool holders. The Chinese screws are generally poorly made crap and Allen wrenches deform and crack the hexes.
In the home shop the piston type QC seems to work OK. In a larger size QC and doing heavy work the wedge type is probably a bit stronger.
Keep an eye out for an old school American standard (a.k.a. "lantern") style tool post for your lathe. You'll sometimes need it for doing repair work where you have get behind a flange (like an automobile axle flange) or between two flanges. The QC tool post body will be in the way whereas the skinny American standard will often allow you to present the tool to the work.
Cheers from NC/USA
