The diner used in the show is actually a real diner and was used in other shows. In real life, the diner is called Rocko’s Diner, and it also appeared in Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and in Horns. ALso, the original plan was to have Sheriff Kellar to be the great-grandson of Helen Keller, but they decided to drop the idea while keeping the name. ALso, Cole Sprouse originally auditioned for the role of Archie, but he decided to go for Jughead instead once he realized that he was the actual narrator. With Jughead being the narrator, he thought that this was a sure way to make sure that his character wasn’t killed off. Cole has also opened up about supporting Jughead being canonically asexual, and even though the showrunners decided not to explore this, Cole has left the possibility open.

Rocko's diner is down the road from my house, the diner deserves 5 stars. The food there is really good, and the employees are super nice. I met the manager and she is a sweetheart, I would recommend.

1) Sheriff Keller's last name comes from the fact he's Kevin's dad. You know, Kevin Keller? A character from the comics?
2) Rocko's Diner was only used in the pilot episode. Afterwards, an original set was built.
