2.) Yes, there is an instance in my life where in I didn’t follow specific methods and procedures. My mom instructed me before that when frying an egg I firstly need to wait until the pan is hot before putting some oil in it. Then, wait for another seconds/minutes until the oil is also hot before putting the egg so that it won’t stick to the pan. I got so impatient back then that I ignored what she told me. So instead of having a sunny side up I got a horrible scrambled egg. What I’ve learned from that experience is that in achieving something we want we should always be patient in following the step by step process so that we will not regret at the end.

There were instances in my life that I did not follow specific methods and procedures. It was when I did not read the instructions of my coach that were written on his whiteboard. It was written on the whiteboard that we should do our own warm-up before diving into the pool to train for an upcoming competition. Since I was not able to do a warm-up, I got muscle cramps and it was painful. I was able to solve it by getting out of the pool and doing some stretching to lessen the pain. From the experience, I learned about the importance of following the instructions given by our coach because it is also good for our sake. It also lessens the possibility of having injuries whenever we are training for some big event.

2) Value Focus:
Yes there has been an instance in my life where I didn't follow the methods and procedures. I was still young when it happened, I was making red velvet cake and it was instructed to over mix the ingredient. Well I thought nothing would really happen but the batter started to curdle but I still baked it. The out come of it the cake had become flat and dense making it hard to eat. I have learned that we should always follow the methods and procedures as it is the right thing to do to avoid any mishaps.

1. Why do people tend to do the wrong things even if they knew it was wrong?

An instance where I did not follow specific methods and procedures is after our beach trip, we were packing again because we are about to go home then my mother told me to keep my wallet in the bag that I always carry and always make sure to keep an eye on it. A few moments later, I was to buy something at the store and I was about to get my wallet but I did not find it. I also looked everywhere in the house but there was none. From that, I have learned to follow instructions carefully because it is for my own good also. It will save me from troubles and problems that may come.

1. Why I can’t always get what I want. No matter how much I try and do my best, I never get what I want.
2.Value Focus:
Yes, there was a time, it was when me and my friends where making a project and we realized that we couldn’t follow all the instructions because we don’t have the necessary funds in buying that certain item, that is when we improvised by substituting that item with something that has some similar effects. I learned at that time that not everything goes according to plan that is why you must always be prepared and not be surprised if your plans suddenly changed. Similar to research since you never know what is the outcome of your research no matter how prepared you are.

1.Why some people tend to judge without knowing the right or the true story, they are only being one sides.
2. Value Focus:
In this situation, A lot of people doing these because they tend to envy or they want an attention to other people. Also, they think it is right to judge a person based on his/ her personality but it is wrong because it can affect the reputation of a person. Based on my experience, it is hard to accept that your classmate judge you even though it is your first time to meet in person. For me, it's annoying because they didn't know the right story of the person and hear the nonsense words. Also, if you made a mistake, people judge or bullied you because of what you do. I've learned that other people opinions aren't fact and I should trust myself because it is my strength and motivation in life. Just like Research, we should analyze the problem and we should get a reliable sources so that we can proceed to other chapter.

1. Why is the progress for finding the cure for cancer very slow?
2. Value Focus:
- A few years ago we had a flight to catch because we were going out of the country. I forgot to pack my umbrella in my check in baggage so I had no choice but to put it on my hand carry. I knew that It was not allowed but I tried anyway hoping that the immigration officers will not notice. Of course when my bag went under the scanner they saw it, so they made me take out my umbrella and leave it. The lesson I learned because of this experience is that, I should just follow so I can save myself effort and trouble.

2) Value Focus:
An instance in my life wherein I failed to follow specific methods and procedures was when back then I failed to read the instructions on one part of the periodical test in Science. I was supposed to write True if the statement was true and write the correct word(s) if not-- i wrote False instead. From this experience, I have learned to not rush things and read instructions twice or thoroughly and not proceed when I haven't understood what to do yet.

I remembered that last school year while taking the exam one part of the paper contains letters and beside it are words which are the answers to the questions that was on the paper when I saw the letters I immediately answered it without reading the instructions because I thought that you will just right the letter of the correct answer until I found out thatwhat should be written is the letter and the word not the letter only.
