ROSE GOLD LOOK SO NICE ON ROLEX WATCHES !!!

I prefer the more modern rose gold and that olive green dial looks beautiful.

I always wanted my first gold watch to be yellow gold, because as you say, it's the true colour of gold. When I think of gold, it's yellow. But I ended up getting a rose gold Ulysse Nardin (by circumstance), and the lustre is incredible! Can't go wrong either way.

I much rather prefer the yellow gold purely because of the classic nature of yellow gold. It looks like it will outlast the ever rose as a fashion item and will likely keep its value for a lot longer.

Can you compare the rose golds from different brands like Patek, AP, Rolex & AL&S etc.

I've always worn Yellow Gold with my Day-Dates in the past. I recently bought a Everose Gold Day-Date II for a new taste and I love it! Both I like but the Everose is my new favorite!

Tried, when I was on the market for a gold watch, yellow and everose and the yellow gold was it for me, all the way. Why? Skin type. The everose is beautiful and stunning - until I had it on my wrist.
Got myself than the 116618LB with its beautiful sunburst blue dial, not much which beats that.
But, doesn’t matter how well Rolex makes their gold, the 750 is soft and far more delicate than I expected. So if you are a person which goes crazy already with small scratches, this sort of watches isn’t for you, as it wasn’t for me.
So I went back to TT and solid steel, but still, gold just bears true beauty and feels just great and warm when you have it on your wrist.
Great video, compete the yellow gold with a sunburst dial and the yg DD will be on the same level, for sure.

I bought an everose version with a leather strap. It looks very elegant, not as loud as yellow gold.

Gold whether yellow or rose gold seem much more suitable on daydate & datejust. Both classic and beautiful watches.

Great watches, yellow Gold in 41 mm and everose in 36mm . I just think the everose looks more classy and more expensive in a slighter smaller diameter in Mens watches

I’ve always been a Rose gold guy but I tried it on in yellow gold and it looked good 👍

Both beautiful pieces. Imho yellow gold with a white dial is the perfect piece for me.

The yellow one is the perfect version of the Day Date.

That white face yellow gold is just classic. Id rock that in a heartbeat. The rose is too pink. I prefer their older more yellow rose gold.

Rose gold 🌟 for sure, you have an exquisite way of explaining about those watches and the rose day date especially. I'm going for one over the green dial daytona! Thank you for these fantastic posts!

The rose gold (Everose in Rolex's parlance) Day Date 40 you had Ref: 228235 has the 1956-2015 60th Anniversary olive green sunburst dial and is £27, 650 in Rolex's April 2017 UK RRP price list. Usually both the Everose and White Gold comparable models are the same price and the yellow gold option cheaper. The white dialled Ref: 228268 yellow gold version, both with the individually hand polished deconstructed Roman Numerals is £25, 550. The comparable white gold version with the same dial in blue Ref: 228239 is £27, 650 like the Everose version above. The extra £2, 100 is because of the Palladium and Platinum used. The nearest all 950 Platinum version Ref: 228206 is £45, 900. I'd like to see a Platinum GMT-Master II with a ceramic 'Coke' (Black and Red instead of the Blue and Red 'Pepsi for Night (18:00-06:00 Hrs) and Day (06:00-18:00) at Baselworld 2018. Another upgrade would be a Triplock crown and fixed monoblock ceramic bezel for the Explorer II.
