It's great to see her get mad over this. He's completely right. Even asking the questions that begin with 'should gay people be allowed to..." is indeed repugnant.

She is absolutely right. Gay people have suffered so much unfairness in the history of humanity. It is time address such an abysmal injustice.

It all begins with respect for the self. Anybody who cannot respect her or himself cannot possibly give that recognition to any other being. When religion becomes a factional and fanatical movement and influence, it is time to discard it, because it no longer brings love and unity to the human community.

I am not gay, but what difference does it make. I am a human being and so are all others. We are all the same: spiritual beings who assume a human life to experiment and gather information about what life is, how varied it can be.

And on a more down-to-earth level: It is always the case that two heterosexual parents beget a homosexual child. In other words, it is part of the human genome. Sometimes it expresses itself, sometimes not. This goes for all manifestations of human existence, including mongolism, just to name one example, and all other forms of not-so-frequent but nonetheless normal occurrences of life.

We humans must put away with all forms of rejection of life's natural expressions. Being homosexual is without a doubt one of those expressions. We can all learn to love and respect each other. Love has nothing to do with what sexual preference a person has. Love is much deeper rooted than that.

I am sick and tired, just like Olympia, about this bigot attitude of self-righteous people who tell others how to live their lives. Nobody needs such a church. Let's tell them loud and clear that it is they who need to learn the lesson of unconditional love! What would Jesus say?

Deprived due to religion? I don't particular care about the issue one way or the other, but I won't sit and watch people blame religion for nature.

Religion is simply an abstraction of nature. Humans realized that fornication between opposite sexes lead to offspring and equated the what is with the what ought.

If gay intercourse naturally lead to children you'd have never seen a debate over gay marriage. Love was never the reaso marriage emerged. Marriage exists out of a necessity for order in society.

At the very least these strict rules were a vital part if humanity's growth thus far. We'll see what direction the world takes with these new more laxed rules. Will it be greater growth, or collapse? I don't know.
