As a Software Developer, I can surely say that aspiring developers or students or for everyone to try and play this game. It's about how you think and analyze each node to get to the desired output. That game is surely a bird's eye view of how a program or computer knows and decide stuffs. Thanks for showcasing this!

As a programmer I could say that this game is fun and could give you a few hours of enjoyment if you like logic games.

"While True: Learn()" is a code to execute the learn() function continuously. This game intrigues me, is a must try for me.
Thanks for the review!!

I kinda always wanted to give coding/development a try, but it seemed over complicated. But when I found this game and saw it was free, I wanted to give it a try. I've played some levels, and will say that this game has got me more interested in coding as the game visualizes a bit simpler than the real thing. I think my favorite thing with the game is how they give you different life scenarios where you would need to use coding/filtering data and there's articles linked with each game tutorial to how it's implemented in real life.

Overall, I think this game is gonna be fun for puzzlers or aspiring coders, but if you're not really into coding and all that, it might be a hit or miss as you gotta change the way you think in the game.

First saw this on my friend’s twitch channel so was interested in it for myself. I played it last night until the point I finally got stuck. ;) reminds me a tiny bit of my current experience with Game Builder Garage, though clearly there’s more to it, such as training the nodes to learn to work better before you can solve the current problem.

Having played it for some hours (not completed yet, but 28 "levels" done so far), i would say that the game is good, but falls short on these points:

- some levels require "hardware upgrades" (in-game bought) to complete properly, but does not tell you this

- it quickly becomes a repetitive color/shape sorting

- there is no counting nodes (in so far i have seen), so the puzzles often end up revolving around approximated load balancing for the sake of the puzzle rather than the problem at hand which i feel is a darn shame

- the actual concept of machine learning is great and interesting to many people, but at the point i am at in the game, it seems to have lost track of the main story goal and instead repeats itself with similar puzzles but different background stories for the jobs. A big shame, as the parts i (have so far) completed involving perceptrons were great.

- A game like "Autonauts" does an overall better job of teaching the player problem solving like a developer would do (but lacks machine learning elements)

Anyway, as a freebie, and puzzler it is a good game. As something to teach you about machinelearning, it falls a bit short.

While I do have a backlog of games I could and probably should play, I'm really just waiting for FFXIV's 24 hour xpac day maintenance to be over, so I want something I can play, go "huh, that was pretty cool", and put back down in a day. This seems perfect.

I played this, this morning. Couldn't even get past 47 or 48%. SHAME ON ME!
I didn't understand the start up mechanics and also some aspects of the nodes and whatnot. I was enjoying the game but then when I hit a brick wall, despite going back to previous levels and try to improve my score, I had to come to terms that I just didn't have the brain power to do what the game intended. I would either have to copy a walkthrough until the end of the game or move on to something else, which is ultimately what I decided to do.

I enjoyed the history lessons, visuals and humor for the most part BUT it rubbed me the wrong way how the game dismissed the ethics and morals of how technology can be and is being used.

I played around 4h30 and it was pretty enjoyable until my brain gave up

I'm happy to give this a shot and I hope it helps me talk to cats.

Haven’t played it yet but based on the title it reminds me of else(heart.break)
— I think that’s how it’s spelled. Probably the coolest hacking/coding related game. You can “hack” nearly every item in the world and change its properties and behaviors using the games fully fleshed out scripting language. It’s quite impressive. Probably too complicated to be fun for most folks though.
