Ship carrying an expensive $80 million vehicle ran aground 8 years ago. Part 1

VIDEOS: Exactly seven years ago, on January the 3rd, 2015, the huge cargo ship the HOEGH OSAKA (carrying high-end cars) ran aground off the coast of England on its way from Southampton to Bremerhaven. 
The vessel deliberately ran aground to prevent capsizing after it began to list. All 25 crew members were rescued.

A few days after it ran aground, the vessel refloated itself, assisted by strong winds and strong tides. With a list of 52 degrees, the vessel was towed two miles east in the Solent and was held by two tugs for a full assessment undertaken by salvage company Svitzer. Salvors managed to upright the vessel and tow it back to Southampton port.

Reports mentioned that more than 1,400 brand-new Land Rovers, Minis and Jaguars along with a smaller number of Porsches, a £260,000 Rolls Royce Wraith, and 105 pieces of construction equipment, worth roughly €80 million, were on board the 51,000-tonne ship.
