Soy un buscador de operas de Wagner en versión concierto. Bravo por este video de "Tristan und Isolde". La pena es que no hay los actos 2 y 3. Pero estoy contento.

Subtitles don't have to be in white - especially when they are against a white background, they won't work (obviously). There is so much more I could say, but in summary, I am appalled. This is a shoddy production, and I am just glad that I didn't pay money to be there, and I am glad that I haven't paid for this video.

Playing, singing and conducting pretty wonderful... A live mix? Balance is all wrong, the singers sound very dry and close- miked, overpowering the orchestra- at least the part I heard (most of scene 1).

Well, I may be spoilt but I've never heard such Dreadful Singing of this wonderful piece in my life!!!

I can barely sit through a Wagner opera WITH all the dramatic sets and action sequences. To sit through a music only rendition - nope. I'd become unbearably annoying to my neighbours.
