Fun Cauldron Facts: Even though water is inside the cauldron endermens doesn't take damage, fish cannot live because the minecraft code didn't read water in cauldron as water(?) So don't try MLG cauldron, entering the cauldron itself is already hard and the water won't negate fall damage, even thiugh lava in cauldron was read as lava and can destroy items and deal damage...

You also can only dye leather items with cauldrons in bedrock, and it is an easier way to make potion effect arrows also in bedrock.

The liquid in a cauldron technically isn't a liquid. It _looks_ like water/lava, and shares some properties, but they're very different in terms of how they're implemented, resulting in bizarre inconsistencies such as lava cauldrons underwater and water cauldrons in the Nether.
