I lost my gunner in December of last year. Everyday life feels so off without him here offering me a chew, or a brew. Everyone please remember what this day is about, and please help raise awareness for soldier suicide. 1 a day is too many let alone 22 a day.

I was out in Cody WY a few weeks back and came across a Retired SF Soldier. He was riding his cycle from Texas. When I asked him were he was heading, he replied anywhere he wasn't being shoot at. If anybody comes across him let him know he made an impact on me. Semper Fi and God Bless him.

in 1944 a platoon of american soldiers saved my great grand father from certain death, he was a french POW for 4 years and got to live a happy life thanks to those men. 76 years later my familly has not forgotten the sacrifice so many americans make each day for our freedoms, so from the bottom of my heart, and from my great grand father who has since joined his friends who never came home. Thank you !

The last 2 years have been difficult. 10 of my friends, all of whom I served with in Iraq and Afghanistan, killed themselves. I'm tired of the death...I'm tired of the loss...I'm tired of the depression each one takes me to. This Memorial Day means a little more to me this year.
