I’m from the Scottish highlands and this was released shortly after my dad died suddenly. I’d also lost two friends in the months following dad….one from a heart attack and one from falling off a mountain while ice claiming. I was really low for a long time and as a mum of 3 young kids and having a husband who worked away a lot, I was pretty broken. Nothing was funny, getting up in the morning took everything. I didn’t go out and I just lost my way. Anyway, I watched the first episode and was properly laughing for what felt like the first time in forever. I went on to watch all the seasons and loved every episode. Thank you Danny McBride, Adam McKay and Will Ferrell - you made a big difference in turning my broken head around.
