I always use WordPad over notepad, I Found This When my WordPad is missing I search "Is WordPad Gone" And Found This Short

To get word pad back go to file explorer, click this pc, double click local disk, double click program files, double click windows NT, then click on accessories then you will find word pad!

Used Notepad for writing quick and simple task

Used Ms word for professional work

I suggest using Obsidian. It's simple enough but can get really advenced if necessary + just uses . md files so you can convert it into other file types. Just a suggestion

Well it sure was a light alternative to word but I don't think anyone really used it everyday so it's okay

Word pad was amazing because it can actually handle text from a keyboard. Notepad cannot do this and breaks down fast

Give me back my beloved WordPad! It is absolutely irreplaceable in many cases, and its security when using it is particularly important! You can't do that! Maybe replace all Windows versions with ChromeOS?

Im active user of wordpad, but last time electricity gets off, my big file was lost, it was very long and big file, and now its lost!!!!

It’s not great, but WTF the Kansas remove it for no reason let’s just say I keep sensitive info in a file there and now gone
