Saudi Arabia cancels 3-Years ban on Expats who failed to return on Re-Entry visa

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia told all its departments of land, sea, and air ports to let expatriates return to the Kingdom who failed to arrive back on exit re-entry visa before the expiry date of their visa.

Expat workers who left the Kingdom on an exit and re-entry visa and did not come back before their visa expiry date were no longer banned for three years from the Jawazat. On Tuesday, January 16, the new rule went into effect, according to the Okaz report.

- According to the Saudi Jawazat, Expats whose Exit Re-Entry visas has expired can now re-enter into Saudi Arabia at any time on new visas. The new visa can be from his old employer or can be from any new employer.

Last January 7 2023 may old boss give me vacation in my country but he did not give me a ticket to comeback in saudi thats why my re intre exit visa was expire .at now im applying for a new visa .still i have problem soon or nothing

yes it's a very good news for me, because Employers make emergency exit because they don't like entering KSA with New visas. but this is a good solution for using that technique to make employees getting banned and using that method in wrong way. 👏. sometimes they are using this method to avoid paying end of service.

I went to home country exit re-entry to corona pandemic, there was no flight and couldn't come back and company gave me termination....Now its 3years+1month... But it shows online "absent from work".... Can you please advise....

I went to home due to absend from work because may employee not give my salary almost 3 month and oferctime also not give and daat off i file case in saudi labor may employer not attend in 3 hiring judge you the case and you give you all benifit but huroob not settled because almont 1 month im not report immediately i surender to jawazat and after a month i get may final exit may question is can i back to saudi arabia for work again thank you

If thats news is true...then why is it the "absent from work" appears in your iqama status? Even more than 3years...this is vague
