US Election: Joe Biden says 'every vote must be counted'

Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden says he is confident he will win the US election, emphasising the importance of democracy, which he called 'the heartbeat of this nation'.

In a speech in his home state of Delaware, the Mr Biden insisted "I'm not here to declare that we've won" but pointed out he is on course to take key battlegrounds by more votes than Donald Trump got in them in 2016.
