Does the mat plug into the outlet??? Not into the actual earth? Then how is it using the energy from the earth to ground you?

Once I ground myself how long will I show 0.0 on the meter? I just bought. a new Klein like in the video. I am doing what you said. I got a 0.01 reading, touched my mat. It went to 0. Now when I go to do it again, I show that I am 0 when I do the prong in slot and touch with my finger which is the first step on the video? I my meter broken after one use? Thank you...This is all new to me. Peace

Yeh got two good voltmeters but only only would do the test.
