Good Sleep Mode

I have used ACs from almost all the top brands like LG, Blue Star, Daikin, Hitachi, Voltas etc. But, this is the first time using Samsung Split AC. None of the other brands have hidden the sleep feature behind the timer. Sleep and timer are always provided independent of one another. Samsung has only made it just too confusing.

Just a button labelled "Sleep" on the remote which puts the AC to sleep indefinitely would done the job. What's the need of 3 modes of sleep? Pointless AF.

I can not use the remote at night time, because there is no backlight on the remote.

Modern air conditioners are designed by idiots. Who in the world would buy an air conditioner which serves to dehumidify the air or works just as a fan? The purpose of using an air conditioner is of course to cool down the air. Just 1 mode is enough. Too many modes makes operating an air cond so hard that it needs a genius to do it. I spent many years using my air cond to realize that there are 3 modes. I had been wondering why my air cond worked intermittently. Adding to the mess were the timer and sleep functions. The designers should have included a default mode which is air cooling without the timer and sleep, if they so wish to make the air cond so hard for users to use.

Samsung AC remote is the worst. I so regret buying the AC just because of this remote. It doesn't even have backlight display or buttons. Not user-friendly for old people.
