Terraria Guide - Farming Fireblossom and Waterleaf (Plants/Herbs)

Orchid part III, a solid (?) way to setup a farm for the hightier herbs of Terraria. Would atleast count Fireblossom as the hardest herb to grind. Part IV will be out hopefully tomorrow and then Im moving along to show some potions!

No, it just makes it easier to harvest. Normally, if you swing any weapon or tool, it'll 'harvest' several plants, including those that aren't ready yet. In clay pots, a planet will only be harvested if you hit it directed with a pickaxe. This is particularly handy for plants that take a long time to bloom, like waterleaves and moonglow. Though I think the clay pots slow down the growth of the plant, but I'm not sure on that.

@glitchfulplayer making potions of course! like the Obsidian Skin Potion (immune to lava, hellstone ore and meteorite ore for 3 minutes) and the Gravitation Potion (you can control gravity for 3 minutes)

As of 1.1, you can effectively grow all orchids on their native soil, and harvest them via placing another seed of the plant. This way you save yourself the clay and space.

@MsVrak Yes Deathweed can. But you cawn only get seeds destroying a deathweed on the bloodmoon.

Yrimir, your videos are amazingly done. They're well plant out, look nice and contain valuable content. I'd just like to say on the behalf of everyone that we REALLY, and I mean really, enjoy your videos (You would have noticed this from the "10 day crysis"). @Yrimir i made sure i used the same amount of water as you did, i even tried putting alot of water covering the waterleaf after it grows and only one pot out of like 8 would grow AND SPARKLE that is.
