2024 Los Angeles Auto Show - Every Electric Vehicle! NEW Ioniq 9!

We went on a tour of the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show to find all of the electric cars and trucks on display. The biggest news coming out of this years show was the debut of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and we got a quick look at it on the show floor. We also covered the improvements to the 2025 Mustang Mach-E and took a look at EV offerings from Chevy, Kia, Cadillac, Honda, Acura, VW, and more!

That Ioniq 9 is sweet! Great people mover for large families, sports teams, shuttles, car poolers. It really leapfrogs the other EV 3-row competitors. I just wish it had side-by-side cupholders.

Of course my favorite was the GV60 Magma 🎉 But I also really liked the Kia modular van concept, would love to see that on the road. Interesting to see actual NACS ports on the Ionic 5 and 9, I did manage to get the port door on the green Ionic 9 to open. You had to press on exactly the right secret spot, hopefully the final production cars will be easier. My favorite thing in the whole show wasn’t a car, it was the Subaru nature theater. It was so mesmerizing and relaxing I sat on one of the benches for at least 20 minutes. Honestly it was hard to tear myself away to go look at more cars!

We bought our 2024 Equinox EV 3RS in July. We seem to to be on the same EV carnival ride😂. Nice to see you stick to the Blue theme with your EquinoxEv

We love both of our cars. Each has different advantages.

My friend group is center-left to left and Tesla is a no go. I don’t think the cars are bad, but the front man has turned a lot of people I know from the company.

I currently own an Ioniq 5. Wouldn’t mind upgrading to the 9 in a couple of years.

Looks like Hyundai, Kia, Genesis are phasing out the 77kw battery for bigger ones.

Kia EV9 Adventure and Ioniq 9 are the ones I like, I'm hoping next year or in 2026 that GM will do like Hyundai and Kia with their EVs with fast charging and have sport versions of their EVs with Equinox and Blazer, and also change that opening port on the Blazer.
