The only reason I still make the occasional video is that I'm afraid that you'll kick me out of the club if I'm no longer a youtuber. I would say that I was surprised by how bad the experience was soldering with one of those chinese soldering "stations." I didn't realize how bad it was until I got a decent one. I'd recommend one of those newer stick soldering irons by companies like Kaiweets over one of those for a starter....at least from what I've seen from the people that used them. Great pod as always

That problem with the nozzle digging into the bed kinda sounds like something screwed up in the z offset. Just my thought

When I was 13 my dad brought home a Tektronix 512 oscilloscope. It was already a museum piece at that point (1976). He literally scavenged it from the electronics lab at the R.O.M. where he worked. It was my best friend for years and years.

I was going to rccomend the Fnirsi dual trace rechargeable bench oscilloscope, for the beginner, mine only cost £60 a few years ago. They have shot up in price since then. Around £200-£300 now.

Great podcast, and very interesting.
