Hopefully with this update, you'll never fish a swimbait the same after watching this! We go over 4 ways to rig and fish a swimbait using a Keitech Fat Impact - one of the best soft plastic lures for fishing right now.

Want to try some of these swimbait rigs?

Your tips have become some of my favorite and most useful of all that I watch. Your attention to detail and the way u relay it to us is KILLER my friend. Literally learn so much from a 12 min video. Nice!✌🏻👊🏻🤘🏻

Mikey, I’m retired and watch a lot of you-tube fishing videos by pros and local big sticks. I have been watching you for several years now and you are the very best! I’m not just blowing smoke…my only problem is that I live in NORTHERN California and except for the Delta and Clearlake, our deep clear reservoirs dominate. I wish you take a trip out here and stay awhile. Fish Lake Berryessa, New Melones, Don Pedro, Commanche, McClure, Lake Sonoma, Lake Tulloch, Bullards Bar, ….so many good lakes. …. Think about it please.

Love those heads mikey, I used them this year in March with 3.8 Keitechs in upper gville below Nickajack dam and caught several spots over 3 and 2 smallies over 5 . Those hooks are sticky !!!! You need to head up towards the dam in March ! Some big smallmouth 👍🏻

Great video Brother. lotta colder, rainy and blustery up here in Northern Kentucky. Videos like this definitely get me through our short winter season. I will definitely start the spring so much more informed

The majority of spinning reels have lower gear ratios than baitcasters, but they typically pick up more line per turn than a higher gear ratio baitcaster. A Shimano Stradic 3000 with a 6.1:1 gear ratio picks up 37 inches of line per crank. A Shimano Curado with a 7.4:1 gear ratio picks up 32 inches of line per crank. Thanks for the video. Love the Keitechs.

I am a true believe in the Keitech but I haven't been getting bit great with it so switched to a Spark Shad and am on an absolute monster bite, once the water drops below 50 I think I'll be switching back. Thanks for the tips and you are right it's just a fun way to consistently put fish in the boat!

That Willowvibe is cool, I have fished it some and one did come apart. Good idea to JB Weld them. I might have noticed a little MonsterBass signage in the background!!! All good, just had to jack with you.

I'm a big fan of that Okashira screw head. Everything from crappie to bass, even walleye like them. Good stuff. I have a couple A-rigs, rigged up with Okashira's as well. It seems to set them apart on days when they're turned on to A-rigs, those O.S.H. seem to give you even more drawing power!

I want to try one of the finesse under spin jig heads I typically fish for walleye pike and musky in my river but you can’t beat a jig and swim bait for the walleye and the under spin should attract strikes the river is pretty murky

one trick is to run a bobber stop down the middle of the shank of any swim bait hook. it really helps provide additional hold of keitechs

I recently found some swimbaits that are very similar to Keitech swimbaits at my local Ollie's. They're from Eco Tungsten and they're called Swing Shad. I gotta say, for less than half the price of a Keitech, these things are really good! Maybe not quite as soft, but still very good. They catch fish! So I looked those things up and found that they have a really good rating on Tackle Warehouse.

My absolute favorite bite is the Keitech bite! Year-round it crushes and it shines in Winter for sure.

I do not the the house without a kitech swim bait on, either by itself or with under spin. Awesome bait. Thanks for the info.

Been a big fan of the kietechs but that said I picked up some of the largo Shads back few months ago in the 3” size. Dude I love um. They have a tendon on the tail end you can snip off with your scissors if you want a harder kicking action. Give them a try Mikey
